More + FULL REPORT Mad River Glen Today This recent stretch of weather has made for some great skiing here at Mad River Glen. Over the last 3 days the temperatures have hovered at the freezing mark while clouds have kept the sun’s rays at bay. This has allowed for soft, playful skiing surfaces across the entire mountain. The snowpack has a chalk-like texture to it that makes edge to edge transfer effortless. While there is some scratch in-between moguls on the steep terrain soft turns were easy to find. The forecast for Saturday has us expecting temperatures in the low 30s and a mixed bag of precipitation starting this afternoon and transitioning to snow by the evening. Early in the morning the mountain operations team was busy readying the mountain for skiers on Saturday. Roughly a dozen trails have been resurfaced off of the top of the Sunnyside Double including the main thoroughfares into the Base Area. Be sure to stay tuned to the conditions page for the most up-to-date information. Please be aware and ski with care, let’s all have a long and healthy 2020 ski season!
